Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anton Sturkenboom started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Katona Janos hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the game, Hubert Tonnis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bierunese's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. The supporters of Hungary booed when Bierunese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hubert Tonnis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bjorn Panter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bierunese's Willem Jongsma got a free kick in the 9th minute. Bjorn Panter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Bierunese's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bjorn Panter came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bierunese's Jan-Joost Aukes got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Bierunese's Bjorn Panter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Balazs Lajos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Balazs Lajos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bjorn Panter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hegedus Henrik took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bjorn Panter. Bjorn Panter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bjorn Panter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 37th minute of play. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Hungary booed when Bierunese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Wansink didn't get a good kick on the ball.

53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bierunese's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. After 54 played minutes Bierunese got a freekick which was hit by Tim Wansink. Major Barna scored 0-4 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bjorn Panter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Major Barna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Bjorn Panter when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee felt a red card was in order, 66 minutes into the game, when Tim Wansink put in a rough tackle. After 66 played minutes Bierunese got a freekick which was hit by Tim Wansink. Bierunese's Bjorn Panter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 67th minute of play. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Bjorn Panter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. 80 minutes into the match, Bierunese's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Bjorn Panter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bierunese throughout the match.
