In the 6th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loramendi Valdivia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 played minutes Azzurri FC got a freekick which was hit by Dino Rowe. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 8th minute. Loramendi Valdivia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hegedus Henrik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antal Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Loramendi Valdivia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Tello in the 21st minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loramendi Valdivia having to interfere. Loramendi Valdivia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 29th minute of the match. Rosario Cardonas short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Fodor Daniel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 31 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Tello came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loramendi Valdivia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Loramendi Valdivia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loramendi Valdivia having to interfere. Loramendi Valdivia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jules Barrett made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Rosario Cardona came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rosario Cardona came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Azzurri FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rosario Cardona couldn't finish the play. Azzurri FC's Nelson Jodion was substituted for Wally Lécuyer. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jules Barrett in the 82nd minute of play. Azzurri FC were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Denis Redd took the corner. After having played for 85 minutes, Rosario Cardona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azzurri FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rosario Cardona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Azzurri FC's Loramendi Valdivia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Azzurri FC from getting a goal against them. 89 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Loramendi Valdivia. Antal Valentin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jules Barrett in the 92nd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Major Barna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boros Benedek to maneuver through the defense.
