Spain:s Gabriel Ascaso showed great skill when he stopped Augusto Teyo:s penalty. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omar Toledo to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Adria Bielsa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heintje Joinvilense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heintje Joinvilense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon Cubero in the 59th minute of play. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Ubarna in the 66th minute of the match. Many of Spain's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Spain may have spent more time on the ball, but Lα Sυв 21 were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
