An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 25th minute of play forced 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's goalkeeper Heinz-Gerd Bonin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zaccheo Andolina to maneuver through the defense. Heinz-Gerd Bonin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siricio Liotta in the 35th minute of play. Matti Erkiner's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Flavio Vittori skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 43rd match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deodato Magliozzi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 46th minute of play forced 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's goalkeeper Heinz-Gerd Bonin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matti Erkiner in the 51st minute of play. After 52 played minutes 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz got a freekick which was hit by Cederique De Meur. With a little luck, 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Heinz-Gerd Bonin got control of the ball when Sigfrido Auletta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Heinz-Gerd Bonin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zaccheo Andolina's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. With an all-out effort, Italy's Heinz-Gerd Bonin threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zaccheo Andolina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 69th minute Italy were awarded a corner. Sigfrido Auletta went to the cornerflag to take it. Italy's Sigfrido Auletta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Heinz-Gerd Bonin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Kert Kuningas hit a great ball. Gomberto Picozzi kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Heinz-Gerd Bonin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zaccheo Andolina showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 80 minute of play. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Adriano Curto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heinz-Gerd Bonin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Italy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
