With a little luck, Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot got control of the ball when Daniel Pimentel tried to sneak it across the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Elliott Bogren came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elliott Bogren's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. A collision led to Vykans Vikingar getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Eric Van Lint hit a great ball. Graciano Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Marcus Ekrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Micucci in the 19th minute of play. After 23 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Barreto. Vykans Vikingar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jose Indalecio in the 25th minute. Felipe Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Marcus Ekrot made a huge save. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Moreira in the 39th minute of play. With a little luck, Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot got control of the ball when Felipe Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Felipe Barreto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcus Ekrot. That made the score 1-1 in the 45 minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Caetano Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 52 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Simon Brolin. 54 minutes into the match, Portugal's Felipe Barreto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 58th minute of play. If Elliott Bogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 66 minutes, Graciano Coutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portugal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Graciano Coutinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Miranda in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Bruno Bastos got a free kick in the 71st minute. Vykans Vikingar's Genaro Remicio was substituted for Alessandro Micucci. Vykans Vikingar's Emmanuel Dennis was substituted for Elliott Bogren. The supporters of Vykans Vikingar booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipinho Amorim in the 75th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Felipinho Amorim came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 minutes of play, Portugal's Felipinho Amorim made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus Ekrot was left in no man's land by his defense there! Genaro Remicio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Portugal had won after a very even match.
