Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luis Vázquez started the match with the kick off. Gabriel Porfiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Aranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Gabriel Porfiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luganeros AFC's Gabriel Porfiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Aranda in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Adria Bielsa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match Spain got a corner. Luganeros AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Omar Toledo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Adria Bielsa hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Luganeros AFC's zone, Omar Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Porfiro came out of the goal and Omar Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Aranda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Porfiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Luis Vázquez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Ascaso having to make a save. Gabriel Ascaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Vázquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Spain booed when Luganeros AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Bittor didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Omar Toledo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Porfiro. Luganeros AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Toledo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Luis Vázquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute of the match Spain got a corner. Luganeros AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Omar Toledo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Omar Toledo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gabriel Porfiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omar Toledo to make the kick off. Gabriel Porfiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Gabriel Porfiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vicente Merino hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's goalkeeper Gabriel Porfiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carles Cherro. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carles Cherro got free with Gabriel Porfiro in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Spain's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
