Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gogo Elequemedo got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute Gogo Elequemedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute Defensores de Mar de Ajó were awarded a corner. Cesar Romildo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Cesar Romildo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Belgium's Casper Claes did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Gogo Elequemedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Gogo Elequemedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kleopas Plouffe made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kleopas Plouffe having to interfere. Gogo Elequemedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Yves Dervaux came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Belgium fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yves Dervaux couldn't finish the play. Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Kleopas Plouffe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Dervaux in the 32nd minute of play. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Elequemedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Romildo came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Elequemedo in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten was the one to do the kick off. After taking down the ball on Defensores de Mar de Ajó's corner Cesar Romildo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Casper Claes quite easily take care of the ball. After 57 played minutes Defensores de Mar de Ajó got a freekick which was hit by Inautzi Quesada. After some careless play in the Defensores de Mar de Ajó defense, Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kleopas Plouffe. The Defensores de Mar de Ajó fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kleopas Plouffe should have stopped the shot. Alberto Aznar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Casper Claes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kleopas Plouffe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kleopas Plouffe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Aznar in the 71st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gogo Elequemedo got free with Casper Claes in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 79th minute of play forced Defensores de Mar de Ajó's goalkeeper Kleopas Plouffe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belgium were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Defensores de Mar de Ajó's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edward Vanderstraeten took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yves Dervaux in the 83rd minute of play forced Defensores de Mar de Ajó's goalkeeper Kleopas Plouffe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casper Claes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gogo Elequemedo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 87 minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kleopas Plouffe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Defensores de Mar de Ajó players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Belgium.
