Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luis Vázquez kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Italy booed when Luganeros AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joe Kimutai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Italy's attentive Eliseo Cutri managed to snatch the ball when Raphael da Silveira made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Raphael da Silveira in the 11th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Eliseo Cutri. In the 15th minute, Luis Vázquez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Vittori was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 17 played minutes Luganeros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Serapio. 23 minutes in the game Eliseo Cutri did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gianpaolo Mascari. In the 24th minute, Eliseo Bittor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Porziano Marchitelli in the 33rd minute of play forced Luganeros AFC's goalkeeper Gabriel Porfiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Porziano Marchitelli scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Porfiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gabriel Porfiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Eliseo Cutri hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zaccheo Andolina to strike the kick off in the second half. Flavio Vittori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Vázquez's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Luganeros AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Raphael da Silveira in the 63rd minute. The corner ended in Raphael da Silveira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Italy's Flavio Vittori did a great save. Luganeros AFC's Rey Ronaldo was substituted for Luis Vázquez. Luganeros AFC's Raphael da Silveira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Flavio Vittori in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Porziano Marchitelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Porziano Marchitelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Porfiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaccheo Andolina got free with Gabriel Porfiro in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Porziano Marchitelli to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zaccheo Andolina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Porfiro having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's goalkeeper Gabriel Porfiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Porziano Marchitelli. In the 82nd match minute, Luganeros AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Bittor to maneuver through the defense. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. After 84 played minutes Luganeros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Bittor. Gabriel Porfiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Curto, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's goalkeeper Gabriel Porfiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adriano Curto. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano Curto got free with Gabriel Porfiro in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gabriel Porfiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Curto in the 93rd minute of play. Luisito Urtzi scored 2-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavio Vittori, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Luganeros AFC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
