Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. Björnhöjden's Jakub Bielecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 4th minute of play. When Björnhöjden's Rudolf Björkkvist in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Netherlands's goalie prevented a goal. Jakub Bielecki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars Meesters in the 10th minute. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Wilhelm Åhman put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Lundqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Rudolf Björkkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Jakub Bielecki successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jakub Bielecki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Gijsbert ter Kruimer struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Jakub Bielecki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilhelm Åhman to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Björnhöjden's Jakub Bielecki. Jakub Bielecki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jakub Bielecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Wim Wilmes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Lars Meesters scored 4-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jakub Bielecki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lars Meesters's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jakub Bielecki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakub Bielecki having to interfere. When Netherlands's Wim Wilmes in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Björnhöjden's goalie prevented a goal. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Björnhöjden's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Netherlands's Lars Meesters getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 79 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jakub Bielecki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. Björnhöjden made a substitution. Kent Berggren replaced Christian Lundqvist. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Rudolf Björkkvist sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 89th minute of play forced Björnhöjden's goalkeeper Jakub Bielecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute of the match, Rudolf Björkkvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnout Reekers saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Netherlands were the better team. Netherlands's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
