Ziemowit Tscherner didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Gigel Elenescu sped through Portugal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Hertha 1969's Wilhelm Nienhaus. But to his dismay, Wilhelm Nienhaus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Wilhelm Nienhaus struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hertha 1969. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedikt Bensch in the 25th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Hertha 1969's Gigel Elenescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedikt Bensch in the 40th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 2-6 when Wilhelm Nienhaus sped through Portugal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The wind increased when Wilhelm Nienhaus made the kick off in the second half. Wilhelm Nienhaus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Gigel Elenescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Bruno Bastos hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. After 75 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Bastos. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Nils Hovermann sent off a good shot on target. 78 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomeu Dias came free, but Rune Jarstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Wilson Amorim successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 82ndth minute of the game Wilhelm Nienhaus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Gunter Waller took a quick shot and it went in 2-9 without a chance for Wilson Amorim to make any attempt to save it. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nils Hovermann in the 94th minute. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Gunter Waller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. The Portugal fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hertha 1969 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
