Silver Mineur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. England's Khalid Kennedy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save England from getting a goal against them. If Kyle Cox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amauri Gerber hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Kyle Cox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Silver Mineur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nico da Costa got free with Khalid Kennedy in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silver Mineur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Issac Dawson, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fernando Pernambucano in the 20th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Quinn Holmes put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of England:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AMERICANO F.C.:s goal. In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for AMERICANO F.C.. Kauã Sarmento stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Khalid Kennedy. 1-1. England's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Hernani Borges scored to the left of an out of position Khalid Kennedy, making the score, 2-1. 35 minutes into the match, England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nico da Costa. Khalid Kennedy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fernando Pernambucano in the 38th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Luiz Fernando Pernambucano rounded England's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Fernando Pernambucano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in AMERICANO F.C.'s zone, Issac Dawson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silver Mineur came out of the goal and Issac Dawson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Xavier in the 54th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Kyle Cox. 58 minutes into the match, England's goal looked a bit too open when Hernani Borges came free, but Khalid Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernani Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Micah Macdonald hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Kyle Cox received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Silver Mineur came out and tried to block the shot, but Kyle Cox slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 62nd minute. Silver Mineur was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Micah Macdonald. Oséas Rocha's late challenge caught a England's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oséas Rocha helped the player get up and apologised. After 68 played minutes AMERICANO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Oséas Rocha. In the 84th minute Hernani Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Khalid Kennedy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernani Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
