The crowd rose to their feet as Gergő Tisza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tanek Wojtyna. That made the score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. Gergő Tisza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Tanek Wojtyna made a huge save. After having played for 33 minutes, Witold Bycofski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Poland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Witold Bycofski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. U21 Poland's Jan Pająk was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 66th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. U21 Poland made a substitution. U21 Poland were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing U21 Hungary to leave the ground with a draw.
