Thanks to some nice moves Kyriakos Kortselis could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Arnout Reekers however easily saved by the left post. 38 minutes into the match, PAOK-RE4's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Manolis Apostolakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led to Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Kyriakos Kortselis kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Apostolikas Ksiromeritis made a kick off. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apostolikas Ksiromeritis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PAOK-RE4 were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Apostolis Papandreou took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Netherlands's goalie and right to Sotiris Papakostas. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Netherlands's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 86 minutes, Sotiris Papakostas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PAOK-RE4 and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, PAOK-RE4's Sotiris Papakostas got a free kick in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manolis Apostolakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wim Wilmes came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Manolis Apostolakis could save by the left post. Manolis Apostolakis made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. The PAOK-RE4 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
