When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Sendoa Najera sped through Zorros del Desierto's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hugo Araya. Jon-Ander Wallffiguer kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Hugo Araya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sendoa Najera, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 20th minute of the match Zorros del Desierto got a corner. Made in Paraguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ivan Cambranes ran over to the corner to take the kick. 24 minutes into the match, Concetto Mare notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Made in Paraguay's Hartz Ochandio. Hartz Ochandio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31st minute, Chiquito Escalante made a precise shot to the right of Hartz Ochandio. Made in Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 33rd minute, Jon-Ander Wallffiguer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zorros del Desierto's Hugo Araya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Zorros del Desierto from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Made in Paraguay defense, Concetto Mare kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hartz Ochandio. The Made in Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hartz Ochandio should have stopped the shot. After having played for 45 minutes, Sendoa Najera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Made in Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sendoa Najera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Made in Paraguay's Joseba Font was substituted for Ramone Betancur. After a rather tough play, Made in Paraguay's Joseba Font got a free kick in the 47th minute. The Made in Paraguay players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zorros del Desierto were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roque Santa Cruz made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Zorros del Desierto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simón Iturbe to maneuver through the defense. After 58 minutes Made in Paraguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ivan Cambranes who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Zorros del Desierto's corner Ivan Cambranes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hartz Ochandio quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Made in Paraguay booed when Zorros del Desierto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Barco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Made in Paraguay's Blanco Cotilla broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 67th match minute, Zorros del Desierto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquito Escalante to maneuver through the defense. Made in Paraguay's Hartz Ochandio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto Mare in the 77th minute of play. Hartz Ochandio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Concetto Mare in the 79th minute of the match. With a little luck, Made in Paraguay's Hartz Ochandio got control of the ball when Chiquito Escalante tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hartz Ochandio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto Mare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Made in Paraguay getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Loramendi Moldes hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zorros del Desierto had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
