After a defensive mix-up in CheR FC's zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aprígio Montenegro came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to CheR FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Lei Kun hit a great ball. In the 15th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aprígio Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of CheR FC's Aprígio Montenegro. Aprígio Montenegro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Timmy Björklund hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Manuel Gaxan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CheR FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Manuel Gaxan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Lluis in the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aprígio Montenegro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aprígio Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandre Markarov replaced Bernard Motowski. Gustaaf Groeneveldt took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aprígio Montenegro. Aprígio Montenegro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 78 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of CheR FC's Aprígio Montenegro. Aprígio Montenegro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rd minute, Marcos Lluis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Netherlands walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
