Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Boroondara Milan's Carlisle Fenwick started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Boroondara Milan's Martyon Diehl got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Boroondara Milan's Martyon Diehl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Boroondara Milan from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Boroondara Milan's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martyon Diehl came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takacs Tibor in the 27th minute of play forced Boroondara Milan's goalkeeper Martyon Diehl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Carlisle Fenwick's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. When Boroondara Milan's Carlisle Fenwick in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Martyon Diehl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 42nd minute. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Katona Janos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Martyon Diehl quite easily take care of the ball. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Katona Janos put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Martyon Diehl. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Benny Atkin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 59 in the game by Carlisle Fenwick from a close distance when the talented Fodor Daniel managed to make a qualified save. Hungary's players were relieved. In the 65th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Boroondara Milan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 68th minute, Paco Everett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Drake Sobczak in the 70th minute of play. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlisle Fenwick's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martyon Diehl having to interfere. Benny Atkin's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benny Atkin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Boroondara Milan getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Benny Atkin hit a great ball. In the 77th minute of the match Takacs Tibor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martyon Diehl showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the game, Hungary's Major Barna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martyon Diehl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 92nd minute of play forced Boroondara Milan's goalkeeper Martyon Diehl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martyon Diehl came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Major Barna. But to his dismay, Major Barna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hungary fully deserved thier win.
