Ginlabbet Stockholm's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Karl-Åke Sandström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Åke Sandström having to interfere. In the 25th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Sandström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Åke Sandström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ginlabbet Stockholm's Karl-Åke Sandström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 28th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Nils-Erik Fagrell could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Fodor Daniel however easily saved by the left post. Karl-Åke Sandström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antal Valentin's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Ginlabbet Stockholm's Karl-Åke Sandström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 44th minute of play.

In the 51st minute, Dick Smedfeldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nils-Erik Fagrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Karl-Åke Sandström in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 69 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Ginlabbet Stockholm getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Március Péntek hit a great ball. In the 77thth minute of the game Március Péntek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Hedkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Ginlabbet Stockholm's Jonny McNamara was substituted for Március Péntek. After a rather tough play, Ginlabbet Stockholm's Tomas Hedkvist got a free kick in the 81st minute. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Åke Sandström was a little too slow when Takacs Tibor got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 1-4. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonny McNamara, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The Ginlabbet Stockholm fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
