In the 19th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hansjörg Wastl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hansjörg Wastl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Norberto Prata hit a great ball. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Henrique Borges got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique Borges in the 36th minute. Hansjörg Wastl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. Hansjörg Wastl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 53rd minute. Hansjörg Wastl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Borges in the 58th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 played minutes Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fabiano Sena. In the 61st minute, He Jing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hansjörg Wastl acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 61st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Hansjörg Wastl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Eikelkamp in the 64th minute of play. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Yan Schmidt. But to his dismay, Yan Schmidt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Hansjörg Wastl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 71st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yan Schmidt in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hansjörg Wastl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wim Wilmes to maneuver through the defense. In the 78thth minute of the game Yan Schmidt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Yan Schmidt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yan Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goalkeeper Hansjörg Wastl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
