Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luo Kuan Bin having to interfere. Cristian Aztore kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Luo Kuan Bin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute of the match, Constantin-Maximilian La Rocca tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnout Reekers saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd rose to their feet as Constantin-Maximilian La Rocca kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnout Reekers. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Karakasa Karlsson sent off a good shot on target. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luo Kuan Bin having to interfere. A well-hit corner resulted in Lars Meesters heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 30 minutes into the match, Wallace FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Luo Kuan Bin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luo Kuan Bin saved Wallace FC from getting behind. A collision led to Wallace FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Delmar Bermudez hit a great ball. David Eikelkamp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luo Kuan Bin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wallace FC's goalkeeper Luo Kuan Bin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Urbasa in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Karakasa Karlsson made the kick off in the second half. Luo Kuan Bin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 55th minute. Luo Kuan Bin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lars Meesters went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Wallace FC's Ramiro Liberto was substituted for Angel Urbasa. In the 64th minute of the match, Wim Wilmes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luo Kuan Bin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 70th minute Constantin-Maximilian La Rocca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin-Maximilian La Rocca in the 71st minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luo Kuan Bin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute Karakasa Karlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 79 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Luo Kuan Bin was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 83rd match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wim Wilmes to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Wim Wilmes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Genaro Ganix's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genaro Ganix helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 94 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wallace FC's Luo Kuan Bin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 96th minute of play.
