Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Viriato Moura started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Daniel Pimentel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute Daniel Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmuth Duckadam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Daniel Pimentel got free in front of the goal in the 5th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Helmuth Duckadam was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Çetin Kantürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çetin Kantürk in the 10th minute of play. Helmuth Duckadam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Çetin Kantürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 minutes, Bruno Bastos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Portugal and the FC Ruscova players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Ruscova getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alex Aurelianu hit a great ball. Felipe Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Helmuth Duckadam made a huge save. Zachary Snaza scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zachary Snaza scored 0-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Portugal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felipe Barreto in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Helmuth Duckadam in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute Zachary Snaza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zachary Snaza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zachary Snaza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wilson Amorim was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Çetin Kantürk showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 54 minute of play. The supporters of Portugal booed when FC Ruscova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcu Iovan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Helmuth Duckadam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. 58 minutes into the match, FC Ruscova's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Helmuth Duckadam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Zachary Snaza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. Portugal's Felipe Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Helmuth Duckadam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Helmuth Duckadam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Moreira in the 69th minute of play. Çetin Kantürk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. After 72 minutes Portugal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alex Aurelianu who took care of the corner kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Barreto in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Helmuth Duckadam saved FC Ruscova from getting behind. Helmuth Duckadam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Çetin Kantürk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Ruscova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Felipinho Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Helmuth Duckadam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Zachary Snaza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wilson Amorim was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Zachary Snaza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zachary Snaza really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Helmuth Duckadam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipinho Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the match, FC Ruscova's goal looked a bit too open when Felipinho Amorim came free, but Helmuth Duckadam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Portugal supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Ruscova's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Ruscova.
