Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexander Tan in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. North Hill United were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kęstutis Survila took the corner. After 21 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kęstutis Survila who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Yao Zhou Jian managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Alexander Tan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Alexander Tan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The North Hill United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 28 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Yao Zhou Jian came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Tan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Germany's Willy Stieler got a free kick in the 31st minute. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Tan in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute North Hill United were awarded a corner. Kęstutis Survila went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Alexander Tan sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The supporters of Germany booed when North Hill United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt Svanér didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Tan in the 43rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Alexander Tan made the kick off in the second half. Alexander Tan took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. North Hill United's Nils De Geutter was substituted for Carel Impens. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Tan got free with Tommy Kahn in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Tan in the 80th minute of play. Frank Sachs charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Sachs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Frank Sachs hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexander Tan in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. In the 94th minute, Jim Roussel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Germany booed when North Hill United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt Svanér didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. North Hill United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
