Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frank Sachs kicked off to start the match. In the 4th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Schiele to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Marcinho de Toledo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Inge Marin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albin Holweck went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 12th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Gomes in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Marcinho de Toledo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Marcinho de Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inge Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind OLIMPIA SP's goalkeeper Inge Marin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Uwe Reimann scored 1-3 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the match, OLIMPIA SP's goalkeeper Inge Marin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. OLIMPIA SP's Marcinho de Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Janik Vogt kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 54th match minute, OLIMPIA SP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Maldini to maneuver through the defense. Ermegildo Benitez made in the 57th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ademir Donatello however managed to control. 61 minutes into the game, Ademir Donatello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OLIMPIA SP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. The OLIMPIA SP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. If Fernando Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 86 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcinho de Toledo. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcinho de Toledo in the 95th minute. The Germany fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. OLIMPIA SP were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
