The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 4th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 8th minute of play forced Reyes F.C.'s goalkeeper Fernando Isusko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Isusko yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After 30 minutes of play, Reyes F.C.'s Aristides Dabi made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 35 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Mathijn Doctor. Fernando Isusko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Fernando Isusko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 42nd minute. Aristides Dabi took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Wim Wilmes put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Fernando Isusko. 57 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Isusko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Reyes F.C. getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Teodosio Ucedo hit a great ball. Arnout Reekers was a little too slow when Aristides Dabi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 4-3. Reyes F.C. made a substitution. Lucio Artaldo replaced Florentino Adrio. Reyes F.C.'s Pablo Enol was substituted for Bonifacio Tartalo. After a rather tough play, Reyes F.C.'s Bonifacio Tartalo got a free kick in the 68th minute. The audience was convinced that Gijsbert ter Kruimer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernando Isusko was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Dabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Fernando Isusko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Enol got free with Arnout Reekers in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Dabi came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Dabi in the 96th minute of the match. Aristides Dabi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Arnout Reekers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Netherlands were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Reyes F.C. for a fine match.
