Finans Spor's Nusrettin Ekşioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The referee showed Tolga Özerdem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hungary played a much better game than Finans Spor and deserved their victory. The Finans Spor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
