A collision led to Belgium getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Guillaume Bonte hit a great ball. Edward Vanderstraeten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Espírito Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Raimundo Espírito Santo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raimundo Espírito Santo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Fan Xi Hong in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Supremacy Catania FC's Filippo Bozzelli suffered a sore thigh after 38 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 38 minutes into the game, Lenny Clocheret was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belgium's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Supremacy Catania FC the free kick. Supremacy Catania FC made a substitution. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten was the one to do the kick off. Dennis Baggio made in the 55th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Carter Barillari however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Espírito Santo in the 56th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Supremacy Catania FC's Raimundo Espírito Santo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casper Claes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Supremacy Catania FC's Dave Di Gregorio was substituted for Raimundo Espírito Santo. The corner ended in Rachid Baba Ali Factor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Belgium's Casper Claes did a great save. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Lenny Clocheret got a free kick in the 72nd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Dennis Baggio in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Belgium's Yves Dervaux. In the 77th minute Franco Lizzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dave Di Gregorios short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Casper Claes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Supremacy Catania FC defense, Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fan Xi Hong. The Supremacy Catania FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fan Xi Hong should have stopped the shot. Casper Claes made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Dave Di Gregorio sent off a good shot on target. Dave Di Gregorio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Casper Claes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Supremacy Catania FC's Dave Di Gregorio in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belgium's goalie prevented a goal. Supremacy Catania FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
