Belgium's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Werneck FC - DMZ the free kick. In the 11th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sander Dermaut to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yves Dervaux in the 20th minute of play forced Werneck FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Felix Donciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joélson Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 25 minutes of play, Werneck FC - DMZ's Fu Ting Nan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casper Claes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 35 played minutes Werneck FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Baiano. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fu Ting Nan in the 38th minute of the match. Felix Donciu made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Belgium defense, Zé Paulo Luz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Claes. The Belgium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Claes should have stopped the shot. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo Luz in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edward Vanderstraeten to strike the kick off in the second half. Werneck FC - DMZ's Felix Donciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 62nd minute of play.
