Adam Olaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Romania getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Sanda Cutov hit a great ball. Luis Täger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sanda Cutov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldo Fenomeno kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Sanda Cutov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luis Täger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Luis Täger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasile Ciumak in the 28th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Vasile Ciumak notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Parque Europa FC's Luis Täger. Luis Täger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Sanda Cutov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 38 minutes into the match, Romania's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Reyes came free, but Carol Stinga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Parque Europa FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 40th minute. Rogelio Mendiola hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Luis Täger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasile Ciumak, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 43 minutes Parque Europa FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adam Olaru who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Alex Serban managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adam Olaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sanda Cutov in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Täger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sanda Cutov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Täger having to interfere. Romania's Anton Stinga was substituted for Adam Olaru. 59 minutes in the game Saul Gomesano did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Rogelio Mendiola. Vasile Ciumak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luis Täger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Luis Täger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasile Ciumak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sanda Cutov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luis Täger having to make a save. Romania made a substitution. Alexandru Pangratiu replaced Alex Serban. Aureliano Soto did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Carol Stinga 85 minutes into the match. Luis Täger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sanda Cutov, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute.
