When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Johannes Kruuse took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Wilson Amorim to make any attempt to save it. Johannes Kruuse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Johannes Kruuse tried to sneak it across the goal line. Viriato Moura took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fırat Aytekin. Fırat Aytekin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 19 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johannes Kruuse. 21 minutes into the game, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Johannes Kruuse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Fırat Aytekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 23rd minute of play. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Johannes Kruuse tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johannes Kruuse's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Fırat Aytekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viriato Moura to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Johannes Kruuse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johannes Kruuse's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.
The wind increased when Viriato Moura made the kick off in the second half. Portugal's attentive Daniel Pimentel managed to snatch the ball when Júnior Baiano made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. 53 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Fırat Aytekin. Fırat Aytekin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 57 minutes into the match, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goal looked a bit too open when Graciano Coutinho came free, but Fırat Aytekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viriato Moura in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fırat Aytekin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Johannes Kruuse might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johannes Kruuse ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Kruuse in the 65th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johannes Kruuse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Kruuse, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Ciro da Silveira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 76th minute of play forced S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goalkeeper Fırat Aytekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fırat Aytekin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Pimentel went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Rafinha Orange was substituted for Edgard de Lima. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipinho Amorim got free with Fırat Aytekin in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the match, Evandro Trancoso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evandro Trancoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. In the 88th minute Ciro da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fırat Aytekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 91st minute of the match. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evandro Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Nildo Rosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Nildo Rosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. S.C. Corinthians Paulista were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Portugal for a fine match.
