The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Pimentel got free with Ubaldo Matildo Fillol in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Faustino Almeida was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The Portugal players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented murioenmadrid from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
