Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off which started today's match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcin Wawro got free with Arnout Reekers in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. RODOS F.C. were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sakis Satrapis took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Olgun Ilgıt managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 18th minute of play forced RODOS F.C.'s goalkeeper Rab Cura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Rab Cura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lakis Traganitis got free with Arnout Reekers in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Rab Cura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Marcin Wawro took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Arnout Reekers to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 34th minute of play forced RODOS F.C.'s goalkeeper Rab Cura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lakis Traganitis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Netherlands booed when RODOS F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petros Meimarakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilberto Funes during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Netherlands's Sijmen Clous was substituted for David Eikelkamp. Gilberto Funes hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 47th minute of play forced RODOS F.C.'s goalkeeper Rab Cura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcin Wawro to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Rab Cura to make any attempt to save it. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lakis Traganitis, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lakis Traganitis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. RODOS F.C.'s Dimitris Venieris was substituted for Gilberto Funes. In the 67th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of RODOS F.C.'s goalie and right to Wim Wilmes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. RODOS F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 71 minutes into the match, RODOS F.C.'s goalkeeper Rab Cura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Wim Wilmes might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rab Cura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wim Wilmes ran back to his position shaking his head. Rab Cura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 78th minute of the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Rab Cura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Marcin Wawro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With 94 minutes on the clock, Egbert Nijveldt commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 96 minutes into the match, RODOS F.C.'s Sakis Satrapis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. RODOS F.C. were victorious despite being under pressure from Netherlands for much of the match.
