Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Frank Sachs made the kick off and thus started the match. Sven-Oskar Andreasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 5th minute of the match. Frank Sachs who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Sven-Oskar Andreasson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Frank Sachs sped through AIK FOTBOLL's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sven-Oskar Andreasson. Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AIK FOTBOLL. The supporters of AIK FOTBOLL booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willy Stieler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 13 minutes, Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AIK FOTBOLL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Albin Holweck recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sven-Oskar Andreasson. Albin Holweck showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Germany's Willy Stieler got a free kick in the 20th minute. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute Blagojče Michalashvili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute of the match AIK FOTBOLL got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alvin Bergfelt ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alvin Bergfelt made a great header on AIK FOTBOLL's corner, it was just that Germany's Tommy Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. After 29 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Janik Vogt. Leif Harlén hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Sven-Oskar Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 43rd minute of play. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Sven-Oskar Andreasson made a huge save. Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 minutes of play, Germany's Frank Sachs made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Oskar Andreasson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Valdemar Tomasson made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Germany booed when AIK FOTBOLL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Hård didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Georg Termander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Georg Termander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, AIK FOTBOLL's Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. AIK FOTBOLL made a substitution. Ian Clementsson replaced Valdemar Tomasson. AIK FOTBOLL's Åke Pil got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by AIK FOTBOLL's Åke Pil. But to his dismay, Åke Pil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. The audience was convinced that Åke Pil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 91st minute of play forced AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Sven-Oskar Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. 96 minutes into the match, Åke Pil dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 3-6. The AIK FOTBOLL supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AIK FOTBOLL would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
