Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off which started today's match. Wim Wilmes might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artur Boruc. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wim Wilmes ran back to his position shaking his head. After 4 played minutes Joga Bonito got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Eleazar. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Boruc having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 8th minute of play forced Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Joga Bonito's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Egbert Nijveldt heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 14th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute, Andy Symons hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artur Boruc came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Kees Mooiweer got a free kick in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Ludomil Czaplicki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joga Bonito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. Artur Boruc was a little too slow when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luo Wei Xi in the 31st minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. 44 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Artur Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luo Wei Xi made a kick off. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Boruc having to interfere. If Ludomil Czaplicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st match minute, Joga Bonito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Symons to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artur Boruc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludomil Czaplicki in the 67th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artur Boruc. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran back to his position shaking his head. Artur Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Artur Boruc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 70th minute of the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt got a free kick in the 76th minute. Arnout Reekers was a little too slow when Alejo Eleazar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 4-1. If Mathijn Doctor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artur Boruc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Artur Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
