In the 14th match minute, Vänge IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Robertsson to maneuver through the defense. Di Xing Yu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Vänge IF getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Andy Robertsson hit a great ball. Schorsch Schmalzbauer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnout Reekers having to make a save. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Vänge IF's Edvard Enström got a free kick in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a great ball. Di Xing Yu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Di Xing Yu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vänge IF's Schorsch Schmalzbauer in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Netherlands's goalie prevented a goal. 35 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Di Xing Yu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnold Stark kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Gust Ennemans threw the ball into play from the sideline. Vänge IF's Östen Olsson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauro Otsoa made a kick off. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 51st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Di Xing Yu could save by the left post. After 53 played minutes Vänge IF got a freekick which was hit by Edvard Enström. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Schorsch Schmalzbauer, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 59th minute of play forced Vänge IF's goalkeeper Di Xing Yu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Meesters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Di Xing Yu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edvard Enström kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Malcolm Skark hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Otsoa came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Di Xing Yu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 79th minute, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Di Xing Yu. Di Xing Yu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 84 minutes into the match, Schorsch Schmalzbauer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Schorsch Schmalzbauer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Di Xing Yu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 90th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Gust Ennemans got a free kick in the 94th minute. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
