The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berend de Visscher during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert Jan van Westerop, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Dennis Beerthuis in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Fokke Cornelisse fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Winthont FC's protests and gave Fokke Cornelisse a yellow card for diving instead. Fokke Cornelisse hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 10 minutes in the game, Albin Holweck fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dennis Beerthuis having to interfere. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. Dennis Beerthuis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Linus Schwerner in the 28th minute of the match. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 minutes of play, Winthont FC's Gert Jan van Westerop made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dirk Lubbers in the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Dirk Lubbers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Germany's Malte Schiele got a free kick in the 45th minute. After 46 played minutes, Winthont FC's Gert Jan van Westerop shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tommy Kahn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Winthont FC reached it. When Winthont FC's Dirk Lubbers in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dirk Lubbers made a kick off. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dirk Lubbers in the 55th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Dirk Lubbers came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Winthont FC's Dennis Beerthuis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Jan van Westerop came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Jan van Westerop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dirk Lubbers in the 67th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dirk Lubbers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert Jan van Westerop in the 78th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albin Holweck struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Dennis Beerthuis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute Berend de Visscher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute of the game Pascall Kolman made a throw-in which Max Landzaat played forward. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Jan van Westerop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Werner Hoving managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winthont FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Werner Hoving was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dirk Lubbers received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Dirk Lubbers slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 95th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Winthont FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
