In the 19th minute, Hegedus Henrik reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Boleslaw Jaktorowo. The goal made the score 1-0. The audience was convinced that Danijel Petrlin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boleslaw Jaktorowo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Mauro Jurišić charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Kuharić in the 37th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danijel Petrlin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fodor Daniel having to make a save. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danijel Petrlin in the 39th minute of play. Trpimir Smilčić hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateo Kukoč during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Maksimir's Mateo Kukoč got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Szekeres Tamas got a free kick in the 67th minute. Maksimir's Boleslaw Jaktorowo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 70th minute of play. Antal Valentin took the corner. In the 89th minute, Hegedus Henrik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, Trpimir Smilčić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Danijel Petrlin came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hungary's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
