Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Germany's Frank Sachs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 5 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. 7 minutes into the game, Roberto Vasconcelos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hannover Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. The supporters of Germany booed when Hannover Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Édouard Mendy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 13th minute of the match. Germany's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Sachs in the 14th minute. After 19 played minutes Hannover Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Vasconcelos. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Édouard Mendy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Frank Sachs sped through Hannover Football Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Édouard Mendy. In the 25th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Schiele to maneuver through the defense. Dráusio Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Roberto Vasconcelos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Vasconcelos in the 30th minute of the match. After 30 minutes, Adrian Dreifuss mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Hannover Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Édouard Mendy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 2-1 became the score in the 38th minute when Dadá Madureira elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 42 minutes in the game, Dadá Madureira fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Roberto Vasconcelos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roberto Vasconcelos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dadá Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dadá Madureira to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Dadá Madureira put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. 56 minutes into the game, Dadá Madureira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá Madureira in the 61st minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Germany booed when Hannover Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Hannover Football Club's Dadá Madureira shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Cícero Cearense made in the 70th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jean Messias. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Vasconcelos in the 75th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dadá Madureira in the 79th minute of the match. The throw-in from Chris Mergenthaler in the 82nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Hannover Football Club's Romário Marques. After 85 minutes of play Germany's Adrian Dreifuss was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Vasconcelos in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of Hannover Football Club booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Holweck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hannover Football Club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
