After a defensive mix-up in Gigabyte Futebol's zone, Toni Mauzer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anderson do Nascimento came out of the goal and Toni Mauzer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th match minute, Gigabyte Futebol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rômulo Simão to maneuver through the defense. In the 16thth minute of the game Toni Mauzer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gigabyte Futebol's Anderson do Nascimento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gerson Tinoco charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerson Tinoco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rômulo Simão's late challenge caught a Croatia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rômulo Simão helped the player get up and apologised. Rômulo Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Ilija Skugor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico Toledo in the 27th minute of play forced Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anderson do Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Bosak, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Emílio Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toni Mauzer in the 33rd minute of play forced Gigabyte Futebol's goalkeeper Anderson do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dinko Stankovic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Joel Teles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damir Pongrac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Anderson do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ilija Skugor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eurico Toledo in the 41st minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Joel Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 57 minutes of play, Gigabyte Futebol's Emílio Netto made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ilija Skugor was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ilija Skugor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Teles in the 60th minute of play. Eurico Toledo scored 2-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilija Skugor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute, Joel Teles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilija Skugor was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Ilija Skugor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emílio Netto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilija Skugor came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gigabyte Futebol's Joel Teles. But to his dismay, Joel Teles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Emílio Netto struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Ilija Skugor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gigabyte Futebol. Ilija Skugor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Toledo came free, but Ilija Skugor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Gigabyte Futebol's Joel Teles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ilija Skugor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Ilija Skugor came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Gigabyte Futebol's Emílio Netto. But to his dismay, Emílio Netto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Paulo Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Gigabyte Futebol walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
