Ertan Taş made in the 27th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Switzerland's Timo Siegmund. Switzerland's Samuele Kunz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 30th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Köksal Sadun was a little too slow when Jacinto Maurer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 3-0. The supporters of MaviAteşSK booed when Switzerland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo von Känel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Köksal Sadun came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Switzerland's Samuele Kunz. But to his dismay, Samuele Kunz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Necmettin Şahit in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hias Nüssli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 53rd minute of the match MaviAteşSK got a corner. Switzerland's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Uğurcan İncesu ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Switzerland's Samuele Kunz in 55 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Köksal Sadun guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 62nd minute Necmettin Şahit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hias Nüssli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Köksal Sadun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuele Kunz in the 63rd minute of the match. Samuele Kunz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Köksal Sadun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuele Kunz might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Köksal Sadun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Samuele Kunz ran back to his position shaking his head. Köksal Sadun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuele Kunz in the 94th minute of play. Switzerland walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
