Claudiu Răducanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. When MARAZZINO's Claudiu Răducanu in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Portugal's goalie prevented a goal. 10 minutes into the match, Claudiu Răducanu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, MARAZZINO's Lütfü Öktemer got control of the ball when Felipe Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Faustino Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Claudiu Răducanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. After 32 minutes of play, MARAZZINO's Claudiu Răducanu made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lütfü Öktemer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Felipe Barreto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lütfü Öktemer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Lütfü Öktemer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. MARAZZINO's Lütfü Öktemer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save MARAZZINO from getting a goal against them. When Portugal's Felipe Barreto, in the 44th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudiu Răducanu made a kick off. The throw-in from Daniel Pimentel in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MARAZZINO's Svetomir Maier. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lütfü Öktemer having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 58th minute of play forced MARAZZINO's goalkeeper Lütfü Öktemer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudiu Răducanu in the 61st minute of the match. MARAZZINO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dacian Zburliş in the 63rd minute. It was a well-played corner which Ball Pitt managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 67 minutes into the game, Felipe Barreto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Lütfü Öktemer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruno Bastos made in the 74th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Faustino Almeida immediately put the ball in play. Felipinho Amorim scored 3-3 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lütfü Öktemer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudiu Răducanu in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudiu Răducanu got free with Wilson Amorim in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lütfü Öktemer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
