Vítor Damas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Predador Brasiliense MZBR getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Asrın Dirsehan hit a great ball. Vítor Damas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 15th minute of the match. Italy's Siricio Liotta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kacper Lizewski in the 16 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Sobral in the 19th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Sandrinho Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Siricio Liotta fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With an all-out effort, Italy's Vítor Damas threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Siricio Liotta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 35 played minutes Predador Brasiliense MZBR got a freekick which was hit by Raúl Palomar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Egídio Souza to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jânio Donatello got free with Flavio Vittori in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vítor Damas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egídio Souza in the 59th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zaccheo Andolina in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vítor Damas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélio de Amorim in the 64th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vítor Damas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 74th minute of play. Flavio Vittori didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Egídio Souza went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Italy made a substitution. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Italy fans cheered their team off the field, for while Predador Brasiliense MZBR had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
