Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. Geofredo Fox took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geofredo Fox made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Geofredo Fox showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 15th minute of the match. Geofredo Fox took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Ergin Ünüvar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The North Port UTD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 30 minutes into the match, North Port UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Geofredo Fox reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dumitru Enoaia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in North Port UTD's zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geofredo Fox came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. North Port UTD were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lucas Alwege took the corner. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hakkı Deniz Danış, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. David Eikelkamp hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hakkı Deniz Danış to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Hakkı Deniz Danış threw the ball into play from the sideline. Netherlands's David Eikelkamp quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Geofredo Fox was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Wim Wilmes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wim Wilmes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Geofredo Fox threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lars Meesters, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geofredo Fox read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After 63 played minutes North Port UTD got a freekick which was hit by Erdeniz Akbatur. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geofredo Fox made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 76th minute. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dumitru Enoaia, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Geofredo Fox made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 79th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Geofredo Fox successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. North Port UTD's Geofredo Fox proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save North Port UTD from getting a goal against them. After 83 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by David Eikelkamp. Gustaaf Groeneveldts short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Geofredo Fox to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 87 minutes into the match, North Port UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Geofredo Fox reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by North Port UTD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Geofredo Fox could save by the left post. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. After having played for 95 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than North Port UTD throughout the match.
