Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Seth McGrath made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 6th minute, Frank Peletier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barry Rhoades was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Peletier in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barry Rhoades saved Chard United from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camille Baume in the 22nd minute of play forced Chard United's goalkeeper Barry Rhoades to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Frank Peletier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. France's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Peletier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute, Camille Baume got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elijah Wiggins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 41 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Jean Bombelles.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Peletier to strike the kick off in the second half. France's Remy Dupuy quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Stan Hahn, made in the 51st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Frank Peletier managed to get in a good position for a shot. France's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Peletier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barry Rhoades breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55th minute Camille Baume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barry Rhoades saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Chard United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after David Barbier fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chard United's goalkeeper Barry Rhoades, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. France's attentive Remy Dupuy managed to snatch the ball when Stan Hahn made a throw-in in the 59th minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, Chard United's Seth McGrath sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maxime Durand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, Camille Baume recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Barry Rhoades. Camille Baume showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. When Elijah Wiggins came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Chard United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elijah Wiggins couldn't finish the play. Frank Peletier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Barry Rhoades made a huge save. France's Remy Dupuy managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Stan Hahn in the 80 minute of the game. With 81 minutes on the clock, Lewis Sorensen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Chard United:s Barry Rhoades showed great skill when he stopped David Barbier:s penalty. After 84 played minutes Chard United got a freekick which was hit by Cobi Vogt. 85 minutes in the game Stan Hahn did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Milton Riddle. Frank Peletier took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barry Rhoades. Barry Rhoades dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. In the 93rd minute Camille Baume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barry Rhoades saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Chapuis's late challenge caught a Chard United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robert Chapuis helped the player get up and apologised. Robert Chapuis hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the match was over France could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chard United throughout the match.
