Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. Wim Wilmes might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zaur Äläsgärov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wim Wilmes ran back to his position shaking his head. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zaur Äläsgärov quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 11th minute of play forced XTQ FK's goalkeeper Zaur Äläsgärov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Gijsbert ter Kruimer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but XTQ FK's Zaur Äläsgärov did a great save. A collision led to XTQ FK getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Saleh Näbiyev hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zaur Äläsgärov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Wim Wilmes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zaur Äläsgärov having to make a save. Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zaur Äläsgärov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by XTQ FK's Mübariz Abdurazakov. But to his dismay, Mübariz Abdurazakov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 29 minutes into the match, XTQ FK's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Zaur Äläsgärov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after XTQ FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sälim Rüstämov to make the kick off. Saleh Näbiyev kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Netherlands booed when XTQ FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saleh Näbiyev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mübariz Abdurazakov kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 58th minute of play forced XTQ FK's goalkeeper Zaur Äläsgärov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zaur Äläsgärov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre-Antoine Houdini in the 69th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Zaur Äläsgärov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, XTQ FK's Joel Rebelo got a free kick in the 75th minute. After 76 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zaur Äläsgärov was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Netherlands fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 84 minutes into the match, XTQ FK's goalkeeper Zaur Äläsgärov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. In the 87th minute, Yasin Häbibov made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. XTQ FK's Zaur Äläsgärov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Eikelkamp in the 90th minute of play. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Zaur Äläsgärov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. In the 96th minute, Yasin Häbibov made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4.
