Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felipe Maju hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Vlatko Bošković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 13th minute of play. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 14th minute. Iker Hats hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. A hard shot 25 in the game by Elpidio Markel from a close distance when the talented Fodor Daniel managed to make a qualified save. Hungary's players were relieved. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Vlatko Bošković didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Vlatko Bošković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 31st minute of play. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Elpidio Markel sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 38 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. EL DIABLO FC's Vlatko Bošković played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 39th minute of play. Hegedus Henrik's late challenge caught a EL DIABLO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hegedus Henrik helped the player get up and apologised. Hegedus Henrik kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After having played for 45 minutes, Pascual Buinton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL DIABLO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascual Buinton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute, Antal Valentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elpidio Markel to strike the kick off in the second half. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, EL DIABLO FC's Vlatko Bošković got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Vlatko Bošković made a huge save. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Pascual Buinton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Walter Ehrler managed to get in a good position for a shot. EL DIABLO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Walter Ehrler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Markel came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute EL DIABLO FC were awarded a corner. Pedro Manex went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Antal Valentin took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Vlatko Bošković to make any attempt to save it. In the 71st minute, Felipe Maju hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antal Valentin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vlatko Bošković having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuel Jönsson during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of EL DIABLO FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hungary:s goal. EL DIABLO FC:s Vlatko Bošković showed great skill when he stopped Antal Valentin:s penalty. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Hegedus Henrik got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Walter Ehrler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Hungary players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
