Miljan Gavrilovic's late challenge caught a DYNAMIT KATOWICE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miljan Gavrilovic helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th minute, Miljan Gavrilovic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Bogumil Rykaczewski notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 16th minute Radoslaw Brak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogumil Rykaczewski hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Sreten Popovic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Serbia's supporters rose to their feet, but Sreten Popovic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lech Bejgier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Momir Gisic hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogumil Rykaczewski in the 35th minute of play. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogumil Rykaczewski in the 38th minute of the match. If Sreten Popovic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Serbia's zone, Iwo Makowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic came out of the goal and Iwo Makowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Serbia getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Rasko Nestorovski hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Serbia's Momir Gisic got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute Sreten Popovic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Bejgier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes in the game Daniel Dawiec did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sebastian Kempka. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogumil Rykaczewski in the 64th minute of play forced Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Bogumil Rykaczewski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic, 0-2. When Borjan Golubovic fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Serbia's protests and gave Borjan Golubovic a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, Borjan Golubovic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DYNAMIT KATOWICE's Radomil Zajonc couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Serbia. After 78 minutes, Momir Gisic mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Serbia and the DYNAMIT KATOWICE players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sreten Popovic in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lech Bejgier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sebastian Kempka kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Daniel Dawiec hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 90th match minute, DYNAMIT KATOWICE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Kempka to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th match minute, DYNAMIT KATOWICE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Dawiec to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Sreten Popovic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Iwo Makowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. DYNAMIT KATOWICE played a much better game than Serbia and deserved their victory. The Serbia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
