Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Valdemar Tomasson sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the game, Olav Graversen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Denmark's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AIK FOTBOLL the free kick. In the 27th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olav Graversen to maneuver through the defense. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chris Nygaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sven-Oskar Andreasson was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Bertram Svenningsen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Pil in the 78th minute of the match. Ian Clementsson hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Oskar Andreasson was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Keld Paulsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Åke Pil went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. In the 89th minute Åke Pil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keld Paulsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Many of Denmark's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Denmark may have spent more time on the ball, but AIK FOTBOLL were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
