The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes in the game Ákos Sándor did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gábor Sárosi. A hard shot 4 in the game by Zakariás Somogyi from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Zakariás Somogyi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 8 played minutes Zakariás Somogyi rounded Germany's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After a rather tough play, Germany's Sven Krakouer got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Zakariás Somogyi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. If Zakariás Somogyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Zakariás Somogyi could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Tommy Kahn however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Zakariás Somogyi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Zakariás Somogyi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Zakariás Somogyi took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Zakariás Somogyi took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it. Újlõrincfalva LC's Kristóf Balázs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 34th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zakariás Somogyi in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Zsolt Gergely sent off a good shot on target. After 44 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. Újlõrincfalva LC's Zsolt Gergely got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zsolt Gergely in the 53rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Zakariás Somogyi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Gábor Sárosi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Újlõrincfalva LC's Zalán Mónos. But to his dismay, Zalán Mónos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 73rd minute, Gábor Sárosi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zakariás Somogyi in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Zakariás Somogyi sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zakariás Somogyi in the 92nd minute of the match. There was no doubt that Újlõrincfalva LC were the better team. Újlõrincfalva LC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
