The audience thought a goal was coming when Sreten Popovic got free with Urban Lund in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Urban Lund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sreten Popovic in the 17th minute of the match. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Örtendal in the 19th minute of play. Serbia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Borjan Golubovic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, MARADONA PINAKAMALAKI's goalkeeper Urban Lund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sreten Popovic.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sreten Popovic stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Sreten Popovic made a precise shot to the right of Urban Lund. MARADONA PINAKAMALAKI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 68th minute of the match Cvijetin Nanusevski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Urban Lund skillfully saved the ball. After 71 played minutes Serbia got a freekick which was hit by Momir Gisic. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Vladeta Jovic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Serbia's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladeta Jovic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urban Lund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Urban Lund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Borjan Golubovic in the 75th minute of play. Sreten Popovic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfons Pihlwall got a throw-in 79 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Eric Skarkman. When Jovan Borisov fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Serbia's protests and gave Jovan Borisov a yellow card for diving instead. 89 minutes into the match, Serbia's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Skarkman came free, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MARADONA PINAKAMALAKI walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
