After 69 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Cooper Thompson. After a rather tough play, England's Quinn Holmes got a free kick in the 74th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Åke Pil in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Khalid Kennedy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 79 minutes into the match, England's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Clementsson came free, but Khalid Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
