After having played for 19 minutes, Drasko Rajkovic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serbia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Drasko Rajkovic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Drasko Rajkovic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stasio Kajfasz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rasko Nestorovski in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match Serbia got a corner. DYNAMIT KATOWICE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sreten Popovic ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Serbia's corner Sreten Popovic fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Stasio Kajfasz quite easily take care of the ball. If Miljan Gavrilovic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Borjan Golubovic fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Serbia's protests and gave Borjan Golubovic a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th minute, Borjan Golubovic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Sreten Popovic made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rasko Nestorovski in the 59th minute of play forced DYNAMIT KATOWICE's goalkeeper Stasio Kajfasz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Serbia fully deserved thier win.
